We each have abilities within us. These are our inherent strengths. When we lean into them, the result is creation.
When we say we can accomplish something, and we actualize our inner gifts, we begin bringing something new into the world. When the goal is construction and creation, we make the world a better place to live in, and we help build networks that support others in doing the same.
But when we feel low, when we question the forces within us—or worse, suppress them—we begin listening to the inner voice that tells us we’re not good enough, that our efforts will lead to failure.
That voice creates a cascade
One outcome is stagnation. Motion stops. Building and creating slow to a hald, and our focus can shift toward destruction instead. Fear of judgment can twist us into becoming the ones who judge, placing blame outward rather than continuing forward.
The second outcome, if we remain inert, is vulnerability. As self-doubt grows, we become more susceptible to being used by forces that benefit from keeping us small, uncertain, and divided. A chorus of negativity rises, and control shifts away from us.
In K-Pop Demon Hunters, we see this play out through demons—and a demon king—ready to exploit, divide, and conquer. It’s only when harmony is restored through positive creation that those voices lose their power and the negative energy is muted.
We are challenged to accept the parts of ourselves we believe will be instantly rejected by others. But those parts are not liabilities. They are strengths waiting to be honored.
Taking care of ourselves—recognizing the gifts and abilities we each possess—allows us to act in ways that build and create.
Celebrate your abilities.
Honor your gifts.
Share them with the world.
